Effortless hydration system
Hydration is delivered through a plug-based system that transfers moisture from the water reservoir directly into the nest. Each Avalon Ant Nest includes both a Ytong plug and a gypsum plug, allowing you to choose the option that works best for your species and setup.

A centrally located refill point makes it easy to top up the water reservoir without removing or disassembling the nest. This ensures continuous hydration and stable humidity with minimal disturbance to the colony.

Two chamber options for different ant species
The Avalon Ant Nest is available with two chamber depth options, allowing you to select the most suitable layout for your ants.

Small chamber version with approximately 8 mm depth, suitable for species such as Lasius, Messor, and Pheidole.

Large chamber version with approximately 12 mm depth, ideal for larger species such as Camponotus.

Each nest has a 50 mm diameter and features carefully designed chambers that encourage natural behavior, brood development, and healthy colony growth.

Fully assembled and ready to use
The Avalon Ant Nest comes fully assembled and ready to use straight out of the box. Simply connect your 10 mm tubing and your ants can move in within minutes.

Included with the nest are a red shield and a black shield, allowing you to choose your preferred level of light protection. An integrated heat cable attachment slot is positioned centrally to ensure even and efficient heat distribution when using a heating cable.
