The XL Mesh Nest is a large-capacity formicarium designed for very large and mature ant colonies. As part of the Esthetic Ants mesh nest series, it combines excellent ventilation with controlled humidity, making it suitable for demanding and fast-growing species.
The nest features seven naturally shaped chambers covered by an escape-proof mesh, providing strong airflow while keeping ants securely contained. A removable clear acrylic cover allows full visibility and easy access when needed.
Humidity is regulated through a bottom tray that humidifies the nest by evaporation. The tray also supports heat cable integration, allowing precise temperature control across the entire nest.
With connection ports for both 10 mm and 15 mm tubing, the XL Mesh Nest integrates seamlessly into large modular setups and spacious outworld systems.

Small species such as Lasius niger: approximately 3,000 to 5,000 workers
Larger species such as Camponotus: approximately 1,000 to 3,000 workers
